This course is an advanced level course.  This course is demanding and requires students to have a solid understanding of the basic engineer equipment operation and maintenance concepts.

Marines should have a fundamental understanding of GCSS Marine Corps before attending the Course. It is recommended they have attended a Material Readiness Training Cell (MRTC) GSCC-MC course and have completed the following MarineNet courses:

  • M00MTH0000: Math for Marines (WEB)

  • GCSS11BC01: GCSS-MC Basics

  • MCIZ1328FZ: Engineer Equipment Chief

  • CE07DR0000: Drainage

Marines must meet height and weight standards.

One rental car per unit per course (i.e. 1 for NCOM, 1 for NCOO) is recommended as Marines have to stay off base and need transportation to and from training areas. Chiefs, operators, and mechanics train in different areas of the base and schedules between courses often conflict.

All Marines attending the course will receive an email 1 week prior to check in with information regarding location of check-in and any other updated information regarding the course. Please ensure Marines have updated their information on MOL (email address) so they will receive this information.
