Permanent Personnel & Students: Reporting Instructions:  Permanent Personnel will report to the Commanding Officer, Logistics Operations School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Training Command, Camp Johnson, North Carolina 28542-0041. During working hours report to the LOS S-1 Section, Bldg M-79, Room 1148, phone number DSN: 750-1752 or commercial (910) 450-1752.  After working hours, report to the CDO at Bldg M130, phone number DSN: 750-1045 or commercial (910) 450-1045.  All permanent personnel will report in the Service Alpha uniform.

Logistics Officer Course:  During working hours report to the LOS S-1 section, Bldg M-79, Room 1148, phone number DSN: 750-1752 or commercial (910) 450-1752.  After working hours, report to the CDO at Bldg M130, phone number DSN: 750-1045 or commercial (910) 450-1045.

Intermediate, Advanced, and Warrant Officer Courses:  Reporting Instructions:  Students will report to the Commanding Officer, Logistics Operations School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Training Command, Camp Johnson, North Carolina 28542-0041. During working hours report to the LOS S-1 section, Bldg M-79, Room 1137, phone number DSN: 750-0002/0274 or commercial (910) 450-0002/0274.  After working hours, report to the CDO at Bldg M130, phone number DSN: 750-1045 or commercial (910) 450-1045.  Upon completion of checking in, students will proceed as directed from the welcome aboard instructions received from the Course Manager/Faculty Advisor.

Basic Students and reclassifications:  Reporting Instructions: Students report to Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Training Command, PSC Box 20041, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 28542-0041. During working hours report to Bldg M132, phone number DSN: 750-1727 or commercial (910) 450-1727.  After working hours, report to the CDO at Bldg M130, phone number DSN: 750-1045 or commercial (910) 450-1045. 

LAT Movers:  Reporting Instructions: Students attending a basic course as a result of an approved Lateral Move will report to the Commanding Officer, Logistics Operations School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Training Command, Camp Johnson, North Carolina 28542-0041. During working hours report to the LOS S-1 section Bldg M-79, Room 1137, phone number DSN: 750-0002/0274 or commercial (910) 450-0002/0274.  After working hours, report to the CDO at Bldg M130, phone number DSN: 750-1045 or commercial (910) 450-1045. Upon completion of checking in, students will proceed as directed from the welcome aboard instructions received from the Course Manager/Faculty Advisor.

Messing/Billeting:  Government messing and billeting are available and directed. Intermediate and above students (to include LAT Movers) should contact their Course Manager or FACAD for specific information relating to billeting.  Students must obtain a letter of non-availability to reside in off-base lodging.  All entry-level students will be assigned government quarters during the duration of their course.

LOC Billeting:  Primary:  New River VOQ - (910) 449-5896  Secondary:  Camp Lejeune, All Points Inn - (910) 451-7385  Students must obtain a letter of non-availability by both primary and secondary options to reside in off-base lodging.  For questions or concerns, please contact the LOC Faculty Advisors.

The chow hall aboard Camp Johnson is located at Bldg M-455 and their hours are listed as such:

Breakfast:  0530-0800

Lunch:  1100-1245

Dinner:  1700-1830

Uniform/Equipment Requirements:  Students will report in the service Alpha uniform and will bring appropriate seasonal uniforms, to include Physical Training Gear. 

MCEN/MCTIMS:  Intermediate and above students will report with an active MCTIMS and MCEN account.

Transportation/Parking: Intermediate and above students are authorized privately owned vehicles while attending this course.  POVs will be parked in the lot adjacent to building M79. Do not park in the numbered spaces, as they are reserved for permanent personnel and instructors. Airport taxi service is available as a reimbursable expense.  Rental cars are not TECOM funded.  Basic students are not authorized POVs.

Location: Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Camp Johnson/Montford Point. The entrance to Camp Johnson is located 5 miles west of the Camp Lejeune main gate on Hwy 24, at the site of the Beirut Memorial and the North Carolina Veteran's Cemetery.

Logistics Officers Course

Mission:

To prepare entry level and lateral move company grade officers for duty in a logistics-related billet at the battalion or equivalent level where their responsibilities will include the general duties of logistics officers, performing transportation operations, and coordinating Combat Service Support (CSS).

Student Check-In Information:

LOC is located on the back side of the building M-79, 1st Deck, Room #1153. Inbound Officers should contact the LOC Faculty Advisors as your PCS date nears so we know when to expect you. Do not hesitate to contact the LOC Staff for any assistance or questions in order to make this transition for you as smooth as possible.

On-Line Learning Environment:

The Logistics Officer Course utilizes Moodle as a platform for student instruction and classroom collaboration. Students will be required to access Moodle in order to participate in classroom activities. Two weeks from their report date, students will receive a notification to the email they used to register in MarineNet alerting them to their enrollment into the class and making available required day 1 administrative activities. After logging into MarineNet, Moodle can be accessed from the homepage.
