U.S. Marines with the Basic Reconnaissance Course carry a combat rubber raiding craft to a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter to conduct helocasting training at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, California, Oct. 29, 2019. BRC is one of the many courses taught by the staff at Reconnaissance Training Company, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry - West. The course provides students with the basic knowledge of reconnaissance doctrine, concepts, and techniques with emphasis on amphibious entry and extraction, beach reconnaissance and reconnaissance patrolling skills.
