On March 14, 2019 Marine Corps Engineer School (MCES) hosted the annual St. Patrick’s Day Engineer Field Meet to pay homage to St. Patrick, the patron saint for engineers; build camaraderie amongst the engineer and utility communities, and compete for the Engineer Field Meet Trophy. Marines competing in the Water Bucket Relay sprinted across Ellis Field with empty buckets to water bladders, filled the buckets, and then sprinted back across Ellis Field in order to be the first team to fill a 55-gallon trash can.
