On January 11, 2018 Second Lieutenant Justin Failma, a Marine attending Combat Engineer Officer (CEO) Course 7-17; leads his class through the Night Infiltration Course (NIC) aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N. C. The NIC is a practical exercise for the obstacle breach planning portion of the course. Students use the knowledge from classroom instruction and apply it in order to breach obstacles and create lanes through various wire entanglements and simulated minefields in order to provide mobility to the maneuver commander.
