On June 29, 2017 Marine Corps Engineer School held a dedication ceremony for the TD-18 bulldozer. The process to request approval and funding to restore the TD-18 started in 2002 and was executed by the skilled technicians at 2d Maintenance Battalion. The ceremony marked the completion of thousands of man-hours of labor to restore and deliver the TD-18 to Courthouse Bay. Colonel (ret) James A. Marapoti, a former Commanding Officer for Marine Corps Engineer School; delivers remarks about the TD-18.
