Lance Corporal Shawn W. Cross is seen here troubleshooting a circuit card with the assistance of the AN/USM-674, which allows the user to compare and analyze signatures of electronic components and circuits. This is part of the training Marines receive within the Micro-Miniature Repair Course as they identify broken component and execute the appropriate repairs. Lance Corporal Cross will attain the additional MOS 8641 and greatly enhance the capabilities of his unit. The Marine will then return to his parent command and help share the knowledge and skills he has gained throughout the course.
