On March 16th, 2017 MCES held its annual Engineer Field Meet on Ellis Field. The annual field meet is held to celebrate the patron saint of engineers, St. Patrick; as well as build camaraderie, espirit de corps, and compete for the four-leaf clover trophy. During the Water Bucket Relay a team of Marines take turns running to a water bladder with a bucket, filling the bucket from the bladder, then running back to the start/finish line to deposit the water into a 50 gallon trash bin.
