A Marine from Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, poses for a picture after being released for liberty at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 28. Family Day is the first time the new Marines are able to reunite with their families for the first time since leaving for Marine Corps recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate April 29.
