On June 2, 2016 Marines attached to Combat Engineer Officer course 5-16 (CEO 5-16) learned how to tie various knots using detonating cord to breach obstacles in an urban environment. These knots help achieve the maximum impact with explosives used in urban breaching. From left to right are Marine Corps Engineer School (MCES) demolition instructor, Staff Sergeant Andrew Dorf; and CEO 5-16 students Second Lieutenant Nicholas Downey, First Lieutenant Jonathan Lanning Keller, Second Lieutenants Justin Wilkison, Brock Yackey, and Troy Searcy.
