On May 26, 2016 Second Lieutenant Aaron Graham, a Marine attached to Combat Engineer Officer Course 5-16 (CEO 5-16); drives an engineer stake into the ground to place a shape charge on it, to ultimately produce a better effect. Shape charges use a cone shape to magnify the explosive power of C4. From left to right are Gunnery Sergeant John Cheze, an instructor with Combat Engineer Instruction Company, and CEO 5-16 students Second Lieutenants Aaron Graham, Brock Yackey, and Nicholas Downey.
