April 26, 2016 Second Lieutenants Troy Searcy and Justin Wilkison, Marines attached to Combat Engineer Officer course 5-16 (CEO 5-16); level out a 4’x8’ concrete pad using a 2”x6” board and a float as part of concrete construction training at Marine Corps Engineer School, Camp Lejeune, N.C. These techniques help to create a more stable concrete pad by removing air pockets from the concrete.
