On April 22, 2016 Second Lieutenant Troy Searcy, a Marine attached to Combat Engineer Officer course 5-16 (CEO 5-16); conducts a practical application in estimating material requirements for vertical construction at Marine Corps Engineer School aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. In order to successfully execute a construction project, Combat Engineer Officers must be able to accurately determine the amount of materials needed to perform a construction project.
