Marines attached to the Basic Engineer Equipment Electrical Systems Technician course 5-16 (BEEEST 5-16) aboard Marine Corps Engineer School, Camp Lejeune, N.C. familiarize themselves with characteristics, capabilities, and components of the Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS). The students will soon transition into their next phase of training in which they will be taught complex courses such as direct and alternating current theory, electrical motors, and solid state devices.
