On April 14, 2016 Second Lieutenant Nicholas Downey, a Marine attached to Combat Engineer Officer course 5-16 (CEO 5-16); mixes Pavemend to repair a spall as part of practical application on Airfield Damage Repair (ADR). Pavemend is a concrete which dries and cures very quickly and can support an aircraft’s weight three hours after being set.
