Marines attached to Marine Corps Engineer School, Utilities Instruction Company, Basic Electrician course 7-15 conduct a practical application exercise on interior wiring on a permanent structure aboard Courthouse Bay, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on August 18, 2015. The Marines that come through the Basic Electrician course receive multiple hours of classroom lectures and spend numerous hours of practical application on interior wiring. This ensures that every Marine that earns the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 1141 and enters the Operating Forces can accomplish any mission requiring interior wiring, whether it be in support of humanity assistance, disaster relief missions, or deployments in foreign countries.
