May 12, 2014 - LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines - Philippine Army Col. Generoso Bolina gives his opening remarks May 5 during a medical supply turnover ceremony in Bigaa, Albay province, Philippines. The ceremony was held to officially present medical supplies to Barangay Bigaa as a part of the humanitarian civic assistance program during Exercise Balikatan. This year marks the 30th iteration of the exercise, which is an annual Philippines-U.S. military bilateral training exercise and humanitarian civic assistance engagement. Bolina is the deputy commander of Joint Civil Military Operations Task Force, Armed Forces of the Philippines.
