On January 3, 2018 Thomas M. Hollman, Operations Officer for Marine Corps Engineer School; is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the headquarters building conference room in front of Marines, colleagues, and friends. As part of the school physical training session on December 1, 2017 Gunnery Sergeant Lloyd Crabtree, the Force Fitness Instructor (FFI) for Marine Corps Engineer School; leads permanent personnel and students through a modified circuit course. In between each exercise the Marines were afforded time to “rest” in various plank positions.
