Marines with Marine Corps Engineer School, Utilities Instruction Company, Basic Electrician course 8-15 conduct a practical application exercise on Technical Manuals (TMs) and maintenance management forms aboard Courthouse Bay, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Marines that come through the Basic Electrician course are given scenarios were they need to identify the parts on equipment that are broken and replace them by finding the correct National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and part numbers. From this application, Marines learn how to identify appropriate parts to keep mission critical equipment operational in support of the mission.
