2nd AA Bn ACVs conclude TCAT 26.1 with ship-to-shore movement
U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, conduct an Amphibious Combat Vehicle ship-to-shore movement from the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) to Onslow Beach during Type Commander’s Amphibious Training 26.1 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 4, 2026. TCAT is a military exercise designed to enhance mobility and integration between the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy. It allows Marines and Sailors to gain hands-on experience of working side by side in amphibious planning and operations, including the use of multiple surface connectors and platforms. The training focuses on improving the necessary skills for real-world operations and effective collaboration between the Marine Corps and Naval teams. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Jorge Borjas)
