"We Love You, Mom," from USS Wasp
240511-N-XO158-1001 ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 11, 2024) Quartermaster 2nd Class Dwight Williams raises signal flags spelling out "Mom, love you" as a Happy Mother's Day tribute from the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp is underway in the Atlantic Ocean as the flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (WSP ARG)-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) completing integrated naval training. Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG) work together with Joint and Allied teammates to mentor, train, and assess ARGs and MEUs in support of U.S. and Allied economic, security, and defense interests.
