MCWL Conducts Experiments with GNE at Resolute Dragon 25
The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory conducted experiments with the Ground Network Extension (GNE) during exercise Resolute Dragon 2025 (RD25), in Okinawa, Japan, Sept., 2025. The GNE enables forward-deployed sensing teams to perform on-site up-classification and publish tracks to classified operational networks.

RD25 is an annual bilateral exercise across Japan, including the Southwest Islands, that strengthens the command control and multi-domain maneuver capabilities of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Western Army personnel with a focus on controlling and defending key maritime terrain.
