Working in a military environment, we are exposed to more sudden and frequent noises at a higher decibel than the average U.S. citizen for more prolonged periods of time. Depending on the cause, hearing loss can be mild or severe, temporary or permanent. It is extremely important that you take the necessary steps to preserve your hearing to the best of your abilities.
