Capt Brendan Evans

Captain Evans was born in Oneonta, NY.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps in September 2008.  He executed orders to Camp Pendleton, CA as an Air Support Operations Operator at Marine Air Support Squadron 3 (MASS-3) following Marine Corps Recruit Training, Marine Combat Training, and Marine Corps Communications-Electronics School.

From February 2010 to October 2010 he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 10.1 as an Air Support Operations Operator with MASS-3 FWD.  He was combat meritoriously promoted to Corporal during this deployment.  In September 2011 he executed orders to MASS-2, Okinawa, Japan.

He served as a Squad leader and Platoon Sergeant with MASS-2.  He was meritoriously promoted to Sergeant in February 2012.  From December 2011 to May 2012 he was attached to HMM-265, 31st MEU as the Air Support Element NCOIC.  From January 2014 to August 2014 he was attached to VMM-265, 31st MEU as the Air Support Element SNCOIC.  He executed several combine exercises to include Korean Military Exchange Program, Ulchi Freedom Guardian, and Ssang Yong.  In September 2014 he executed orders to Marine Air Command and Control Squadron Experimental, and then executed orders to MASS-3 in April 2015.

He was selected for the Enlisted Commissioning Program in 2015 and was commissioned to 2ndLt on November 24, 2015.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University.

Captain Evans executed orders to Okinawa, Japan on 28 July, 2016 following The Basic School and the USMC Basic Military Police Officer Course.  He served as a Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer, and Assistant Operations Officer with 3d Law Enforcement Battalion (3D LE Bn).  From August to November 2017 he deployed to the Philippines as the Officer in Charge of the Custodial Support Element Philippines.  From July 2018 to January 2019 he deployed in support of Combine Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) filling a joint individual augment billet with the CJTF-OIR headquarters. While at 3D LE Bn he executed several exercises to include Khan Quest 2017 in Mongolia and 3d Law Enforcement Battalion’s Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation.

In July 2019 he executed orders to Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Kings Bay, GA. He served at the Recapture Tactics Platoon Commander, Battalion Training Officer, Headquarters and Services Executive Officer, and Headquarters and Services Company Commander. After a PCS to Fort Leonard Wood, MO, he graduated from Military Police Captain’s Career Course in June 2022 and received orders to Marine Detachment Fort Leonard Wood. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Organization and Security Management from Webster University.

Captain Evans’ personal decorations include the Joint Commendation Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal (2nd award), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd award), and the Good Conduct Medal (2nd award).
