First Lieutenant Elleri Pargin

Recruit Pargin attended recruit training at 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and graduated as a Private First Class. Upon completion of recruit training in May of 2014, PFC. Pargin attended Marine Combat Training, School of Infantry East at Camp Geiger. She then attended the Basic Combat Engineer Course at Courthouse Bay, Camp Lejeune where she was assigned the military occupational specialty 1371, Combat Engineer.

PFC Pargin was then assigned to the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force in Camp Lejeune, NC where she was promoted to Lance Corporal. Upon the Task Force disbanding in 2015, LCpl Pargin was assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion. LCpl Pargin then volunteered for Marine Security Guard (MSG) duty and was promoted to Corporal before attending MSG school.

Cpl Pargin graduated MSG school in September 2016 and reported to her first embassy posting in Cairo, Egypt. There she was promoted to Sergeant and served as a squad leader within one of the largest existing MSG detachments. In January 2018, Sgt Pargin moved to her second post, American Embassy Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. She was meritoriously promoted to Staff Sergeant and immediately returned to MSG school to become a Detachment Commander. SSgt Pargin assumed command of Marine Security Guard Detachment Windhoek, Namibia in October 2018.

In July 2019, SSgt Pargin was selected to participate in the Enlisted Commissioning Program. Candidate Pargin reported to Officer Candidate School in January 2020 and graduated in March. Second Lieutenant Pargin reported to Delta Company at The Basic School and graduated with the military occupational specialty 3404, Financial Management Officer, in November 2020. Second Lieutenant Pargin was assigned to II MIG and checked in for on-the-job training before attending the Financial Management Officer Course in January 2021. Upon graduation, Second Lieutenant Pargin returned to II MIG where she was promoted and served as a Budget Officer until February 2023. First Lieutenant Pargin was then sent on temporary assigned duty to Regional Disbursing Office-East where she served as the Operations Officer until May 2023.

In May of 2023, First Lieutenant Pargin reported to the Financial Management School, MCCSSS. She currently serves as the MCCSSS H&S Company Commander. First Lieutenant Pargin's personal awards include two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. First Lieutenant Pargin is married to the former Elizabeth Dollinger and they have one son, Patrick Pargin.
