Lieutenant Colonel Ross A. Garnett
Camp Johnson, North Carolina

LtCol Ross Garnett is the Commanding Officer, Ground Supply School, MCCSSS. Prior to his current assignment he served as the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, G-4, 2d Marine Division from June 2022 to June 2023. A native of Saint Albans, West Virginia, LtCol Garnett graduated from the Virginia Military Institute and was commissioned in 2005. He has served as a ground supply officer across the MAGTF, including Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, 2d Tank Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, and 3d Maintenance Battalion. He has commanded Headquarters Company, MWSS-374, and Headquarters and Support Company, 2d Tank Bn. LtCol Garnett has served on the staff at Officer Candidates School, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base Quantico and MCIPAC G-4 on MCB Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan. His operational staff assignments include III Marine Expeditionary Force in Okinawa, Japan and 2d Marine Division G-4, MCB Camp Lejeune. He is a graduate of the Expeditionary Warfare School, Tactical Logistics Operations Course, Advanced Expeditionary Logistics Course, Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and the Joint Logistics Course. LtCol Garnett is married to the former Marissa-Rose Sabin of Yucca Valley, California. They have two children: Tori (20, she is currently enrolled in community college) and Liam (13, he is currently finishing 8th grade via home-school curriculum).
