First Sergeant Brian C. Price
The Basic School

First Sergeant Brian C. Price enlisted in the Marine Corps in July 2005 and completed Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego, California. Upon completion of Recruit Training and Marine Combat Training (MCT), Private Price reported to Personnel Administration School, Camp Johnson, NC, where he earned military occupational specialty of 0151, Administrative Clerk. In January 2006, he reported to 2d Marine Division where he served as an Administrative Clerk.

In January 2007, Lance Corporal Price deployed with II Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD) to Fallujah, Iraq in Support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM until January 2008. Upon return from Iraq, he was meritoriously promoted to Corporal.

While still assigned to 2d Marine Division, Corporal Price attached to 2d Marine Expeditionary Brigade - Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM from April 2009 to April 2010, where he served as the G-1 Adjutant Chief. While in Afghanistan, he was promoted to the rank Sergeant.

In June 2010, Sergeant Price was transferred to Personnel Administration School, Camp Johnson, NC, where he served as the Administrative Chief.

In December 2010, Sergeant Price was transferred to Marine Corps Activity - Guam where he served as the Administrative Chief.

In November 2011, Sergeant Price was transferred to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, CA and assigned to the Installation Personnel Administrative Center (IPAC) where he served as the Pay/TAD NCOIC, Deployment NCOIC, and Customer Service SNCOIC. While assigned to the IPAC he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.

In April 2015, Staff Sergeant Price was transferred to 1st Intelligence Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA where he was assigned as the Battalion Administrative Chief.

In July 2016, Staff Sergeant Price was transferred to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Camp Lejeune, NC. During his time at 26th MEU, he participated in Direct Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico aboard the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3). He also deployed aboard the USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. While assigned to the 26th MEU he was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.

In November 2018, Gunnery Sergeant Price was transferred to School of Infantry - East where he served as the Admin Service Center SNCOIC, Company I Combat Instructor, Battalion Logistics Chief and Company Gunnery Sergeant for Company G.

In June 2021, Gunnery Sergeant Price reported to Manpower Management Division where he served as the SNCOIC, MMPR-1 Officer Promotions.

In April 2022, he was frocked to his current rank and executed orders to The Basic School, where he was assigned to Company D, Basic Officer Course 4-22 and then Company I Warrant Officer Basic Course 1-23.

First Sergeant Price's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars (3rd award) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with three gold stars (4th award).
