Company First Sergeant, H&S Company
First Sergeant David M. Frank

1stSgt Frank was born in Livingston, New Jersey.  In March of 2003 he graduated with Echo Company from Marine Corp Recruit Depot Parris Island.  Private First Class Frank attended the School of Infantry East with Bravo Company at Camp Geiger North Carolina.  There he completed his training as a Basic Infantryman and graduated in June of 2003.
In July of 2003, Private First Class Frank reported for duty with 2nd Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment India Company 3rd Platoon.  There Private First Class was made a Team Leader.  In August of 2003 he was promoted to Lance Corporal.  In October of 2003 Lance Corporal Frank deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he worked in the Command Operation Center.  In June of 2004, upon returning Lance Corporal Frank immediately redeployed to Djibouti, Africa in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he worked conducting personnel searches at the base Entry Control Point.
In February of 2005 Lance Corporal Frank deployed to Husaybah, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as a Team Leader.  In February of 2005 he was promoted to Corporal.  During the deployment he was promoted to the billet of Squad Leader.  In July of 2006 Corporal Frank deployed to Taquadium, Iraq where he served as a Squad leader.  In November of 2006 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  Immediately upon returning he was made the Platoon Sergeant for the Headquarters Platoon while he was waiting to execute orders.  
In May of 2007 Sergeant Frank reported to School of Infantry West Detachment Hawaii located at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii where he attended Infantry Squad Leaders Course.  Upon graduation he reported in and served as a Squad Leaders Course Instructor.    In August 2010 Sergeant Frank attended Sergeants Course where he graduated as the class Honor Graduate.  In February of 2011 he was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
In March of 2011 Staff Sergeant Frank reported for duty to 2nd Battalion 4th Marine Regiment Golf Company where he was served as Platoon Sergeant for Second Platoon.  In August of 2011 Staff Sergeant Frank deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  Upon returning Staff Sergeant Frank was moved to Platoon Sergeant of Weapons Platoon.  In July of 2012 Staff Sergeant Frank attended Infantry Unit Leaders Course where he graduated with a Grade Point Average of 95.73. In March of 2013, Staff Sergeant Frank deployed to Okinawa, Japan in support of the 31st MEU. In June of 2014, Staff Sergeant Frank attended Career Course.
In October 2014, Staff Sergeant Frank attended Marine Security Guard School in Quantico, Virginia. Upon graduation he was assigned to the US Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden where he served as the detachment commander from January 2015 until July of 2016.  In August of 2016 Staff Sergeant Frank was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and reassigned to the US Embassy in Banjul, The Gambia where he served as the detachment commander until December 2017.
In December of 2017, Gunnery Sergeant Frank was reassigned to 8th Regiment where he served as the headquarters and Service Company First Sergeant. In October 2018, Gunnery Sergeant Frank was moved to 3rd Battalion 6th Marines in order to deploy as the Headquarters and Service Company First Sergeant. In January 2019 Gunnery Sergeant Frank deployed with 3/6 to Okinawa, Japan as part of the Unit Deployment Program. Upon return from Okinawa, Gunnery Sergeant Frank attended the Advanced Course aboard Camp Johnson NC. In December of 2019 Gunnery Sergeant Frank was selected to the rank of First Sergeant.
In May of 2020, Gunnery Sergeant Frank was Frocked to First Sergeant and executed orders to the School of Infantry East, Marine Combat Training Battalion. There he would serve as the Company first Sergeant for Golf, Hotel and Headquarters and Service Company.
In May of 2022, First Sergeant Frank executed Permanent Change of assignment orders to Marine Corps Combat Service Support School aboard Camp Johnson NC where he is currently serving as the Headquarters and Service Company First Sergeant.
First Sergeant Frank is married and has two children.  His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with gold star in Lieu of second award, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal with two gold stars in Lieu of third award, one with Combat device the Combat Action Ribbon with gold star,   Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal with 5 Bronze stars in Lieu of sixth award, five certificates of Commendation and a Meritorious Mast.
