Staff Sergeant Herold was born in Los Angeles, California in July of 1997. Staff Sergeant Herold enlisted into the Marine Corps on 8 September 2015 and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, where she graduated as a Private First Class in December 2015. Upon graduation of basic training, Private First Class Herold reported to Camp Geiger, North Carolina for Marine Combat Training at the School of Infantry (East) and then reported to Camp Johnson, North Carolina in February 2016 for training as an Administrative Specialist.
In April 2016, Private First Class Herold reported to the Installation Personnel Administration Center, H&HS, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. Private First Class served as a Deployments Clerk. In June 2016 she was promoted to Lance Corporal. Upon promotion to Corporal in 2018, she was transferred to Customer Service. After a short time with Customer Service, she was transferred back to Deployments where she briefly served as the Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge during the Marine Corps Administrative Analysis Team Inspection. In June of 2019, she was promoted to Sergeant.
Sergeant Herold reported for duty to Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California in June 2019 where she served as the Assistant Administrative Chief. During this time, Sergeant Herold served with the MWSS-373 Airfield Security Operations Team.
Sergeant Herold reported to the Personnel Administration School, Camp Johnson, NC on 4 April 2022. She was promoted to Staff Sergeant February 1st, 2023. She currently serves as an Entry Level Instructor for the Administrative Specialist Course. Staff Sergeant Herold has graduated 5 ASC classes since her arrival to the schoolhouse.
Staff Sergeant Herold's personal decoration includes (2) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
Staff Sergeant Herold has two sons, Gabriel (4) and Sean (2).
