August 2015: Jordan Matthew Rector graduated from Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant on 7 August 2015. Shortly after Second Lieutenant Rector attended The Basic School on 8 August 2015.
In March 2016, after successful completion of The Basic School, Second Lieutenant Rector attended the Basic Qualification Course for Aviation Supply Officers in New Port, Rhode Island, successfully earning the 6602 MOS.
In July 2016, Second Lieutenant Rector executed orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12 for duty and was assigned as the Supply Accounting Division, and Squadron Support Division Officer in Charge.During this period he deployed to MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii as the Hawaii Unit Level Training Maine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12 Detachment Officer in Charge in support of Marine Fight Attack Squadron 115.
In June 2017, Second Lieutenant Rector transferred to Marine Aircraft Group 12 and was assigned as the Assistant Logistics Officer, Fiscal Officer, and Armory Officer.During this period Second Lieutenant Rector was promoted to First Lieutenant on August 7, 2017 and deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam as a member of the Marine Aircraft Group 12 Headquarters Element and lead logistics planner.
In November 2018, First Lieutenant Rector returned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12 and was assigned as the Warehouse Management Division Officer in Charge.At the end of this tour in July 2019 he was transferred to his current command, Marine Aviation Training Squadron One, where he currently is assigned as the Executive Officer.
