Staff Sergeant Stephanie P. Moore

 

SSgt Moore attended High School in Long Island, New York. Following graduation of High School, she attended Nassau Community College to study Business Marketing. After a year transferred to University of Las Vegas to study International Marketing. SSgt Moore enlisted in the Marine Corps and shipped to MCRD Parris Island 24 January 2010.

After graduating boot camp, Private First Class Moore received orders to Marine Combat Training (MCT), at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina from May 2010 to June 2010. After completing training at MCT, she received orders to the Financial Management School (FMS) in Camp Johnson, North Carolina.

After graduating FMS in August 2010, and receiving the 3432 MOS, she received orders to II MEF Regional Disbursing Office, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where she worked in the Separations section. Lance Corporal Moore was given the opportunity to deploy in November 2013 on the 22 MEU with Combat Logistics Battalion 22. While deployed she was a part of the Evacuation Control Team and participated as a Female engagement team member for Mount Sinjar.

Returning from deployment October 2014, Corporal Moore was promoted to Sergeant and became the Non-commissioned Officer of the Fiscal section at the Camp Lejeune Regional Disbursing Office. October 2016 Sergeant Moore was selected to be a Combat Instructor at School of Infantry-East to complete her Special Duty Assignment.

Staff Sergeant Moore attended Advanced Finance Course April of 2019 and received orders to FMS Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools January 2020 in Camp Johnson, North Carolina as a formal school instructor. During this tour SSgt Moore earned the title of FMS Instructor of the Year for 2021.

SSgt Moore has been twice selected as Financial Management School Instructor of the Year.

Staff Sergeant Moore's personal decorations include three Marine Corps Good Conduct Medals and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
