Joseph Scott (forefront), and Marines attending the Advanced Electrician course 3-15 participate in a practical application exercise on field planning at Marine Corps Engineer School, Utilities Instruction Company, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on August 31, 2015. The planning stage for these Marines is crucial to their overall development as a small unit leader within their respective commands. This exercise is intended to test the Marines knowledge on how to emplace generator sites, Mobile Electric Power Distribution Systems (MEPDIS), and general power requirements for field operations and combat deployment operations.
