CHECKING IN/ IN PROCESSING/ MARINES AWAITING TRAINING PROGRAM: (14 hours)
The checking in process, welcome aboard briefs and Values Based Training occur prior to the commencement of MOS training. Values Based Training is incorporated into the Marines Awaiting Training program. The Marines Awaiting Training Briefs covers academic policies, guidelines, and procedures pertaining to the conduct of students and the Marines Awaiting Training (MAT) Program's Annex A and Annex B curriculum from Ground Training Branch, TECOM.
Student's check-in process consists of supply gear issue, barracks items issue, Service Record Book audit, Medical and Dental book screening. All Marines reporting for instruction undergo the check-in/out process.
REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS: Students report to the Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Detachment, U.S. Army Ordnance School, Fort Lee, Va. 23801.
-Entry Level Students: All students will report in by 2359 on the report date reflected in MCTIMS. During working and non-working hours report to Bldg 9302. Marines will report in Service "A" uniform. Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) and family members are not authorized. Government messing and billeting are available.
-Non-Entry Level Students and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO): Students will report to Bldg 18040 Room 215 by 0730 on the report date reflected in MCTIMS. Marines will report in the seasonal MARPAT uniform. Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) are authorized. Family members are not authorized. Government messing and billeting are available for non-entry level students and NCOs.
-Warrant Officers (WO) and Staff Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO): Students will report in by 0730 on the report date reflected in MCTIMS. During working hours report to Bldg 18040 Room 215. Marines will report in the seasonal MARPAT uniform. Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) are authorized. Family members are not authorized. Government messing and billeting are not available for WOs and SNCOs.
The Company Commander of Company B, Marine Corps Detachment, Fort Lee is the final authority on student recycle/ MOS reclassification, and disenrollment from a course.
