All Marine Corps personnel reporting to Quantico and Combat Instructor Battalion, The Basic School during normal working hours will report to the Battalion S-1 in Gonzalez Hall where they will receive a reporting endorsement on their orders and a check-in sheet.  The Marine will then be escorted to the Installation Personnel Administration Center (IPAC) located on the second deck of Building 2006 (Headquarters and Service Battalion), Hawkins Avenue on Mainside.  The IPAC phone number is (703) 784-4466.  Upon reporting in, IPAC will provide initial administrative check-in assistance including OQR/SRB audits, Original Orders Endorsements, Travel Claims, Unit Diary Joins and Assignment to the Base Welcome Aboard Briefing.  After completing IPAC check-in, personnel are turned over to their assigned unit headquarters for issuance of their Check-in Sheets and further in-processing.  All personnel checking in are required to wear Service Alphas.

After Hours Check In

Marines checking in after hours will check-in with the TBS Officer of the Day in Heywood Hall to have their orders stamped.  Depending on pay grade and dependent status, Marines will either receive a temporary barracks room located aboard Camp Barrett or they will be required to stay in temporary lodging (potentially covered by TLE).  On their first business day after checking in, Marines are required to check in with the CIB S-1 and IPAC.
