Master Gunnery Sergeant Keith E. Teraberry

 

      Master Gunnery Sergeant Teraberry is the Senior Enlisted Advisor for Marine Corps Intelligence Schools. He was born in Fairfield, California on October 16, 1978 and graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California in August 1997. Upon graduation and completion of Combat Training, Private First Class Teraberry reported to Fort McClellan, Alabama to attend Military Police School. In December 1997, he reported to the Marine Wing Support Squadron 371, Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona for duty as a field Military Policeman. In January 1999, Lance Corporal Teraberry received orders to Marine Security Guard School and was assigned duty as a watch-stander in Jerusalem and in Ottawa, Canada.

       In December 2001, Corporal Teraberry returned from MSG Duty and reported to Security Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Quantico for duty as a Military Policeman. In August 2002, Sergeant Teraberry lateral moved to the Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence MOS and was assigned to 1st Intelligence Battalion, Headquarters Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. In July 2003, he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Central Command’s Joint counterintelligence Support Element/Joint Security Directorate. In February 2004, he was assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) which was deployed from December 2004 to June 2005. In September 2005, Staff Sergeant Teraberry attended the Defense Language Institute Persian-Farsi Course in Monterey, California. In September 2006, he reported to 2nd Intelligence Battalion, Headquarters Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In April 2007, he deployed again in support of OEF, this time to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. In August 2008, Gunnery Sergeant Teraberry assumed duties as the Company First Sergeant of the newly activated CI/HUMINT Support Company, 2nd Intelligence Battalion. In 2009, he was assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit as the HUMINT Exploitation Team Chief which deployed from January – August 2010.

      In September 2010, Gunnery Sergeant Teraberry reported for Instructor duty at the Marine Corps Detachment Dam Neck, Marine Corps Intelligence Schools in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In January 2014, he returned to 1st Intelligence Battalion.In January 2015, Master Sergeant Teraberry was assigned to the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command and deployed from April – October 2015. Upon redeployment, he served as CI/HUMINT Company Operations Chief.

        In June 2017, Master Sergeant Teraberry reported to Intelligence Department, Headquarters Marine Corps and served as CI/HUMINT MOS Specialist. In July 2019, Master Gunnery Sergeant Teraberry reported to Marine Corps Intelligence Schools and assumed duties as the Senior Enlisted Advisor.

      Master Gunnery Sergeant Teraberry’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal w/Gold Star, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon. He is married to Gunnery Sergeant Crystal Teraberry (USMC, Retired) of Renton, Washington and has four daughters.
