ASSAULT AMPHIBIAN SCHOOL WELCOME ABOARD

MARINES, SAILORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS:

The Sergeant Major and I would like to take a quick moment to welcome you and your families to the Assault Amphibian Battalion! You are joining the ranks of an organization with a storied history that is proud in its tradition of producing the most capable and diverse warriors in the Marine Corps. We are a team tasked to produce the finest operators and maintainers and whether a student or permanent member of the staff, you are crucial to our mission success here at the school house.

You have arrived during both exciting and challenging times in our community as we continue ongoing operations with the current AAV model and look forward to carving a path for the replacement of the AAV, the new Amphibious Combat Vehicle. While stationed here at Camp Pendleton, you’ll be offered personal opportunities to enjoy the southern California lifestyle and activities while honing your professional warfighting edge. This is a great place to be full of positive individuals working as a team to meet those mission requirements. We look forward to working alongside each and every one of you.

Welcome aboard!

SEMPER FIDELIS!
