Ammunition Warrant Officer Overview
The Ammunition Warrant Officer course is designed to provide instruction t Warrant Officers with the MOS of 2340 on the 2000 level events listed in the Training and Readiness Manual, NAVMC 3500.89_.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this course is to provide Warrant Officers, MOS 2340, with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform as Ammunition Officers within the Fleet Marine Force.
SCOPE: The purpose of this course to provide specialized instruction covering; manage qualification/certification program, develop SOP's, manage AA&E programs, plan ammunition support for operations, supervise ammunition distribution operations, design field ASP's, coordinate retrograde operations, develop waste munitions procedures, conduct naval facilities planning, and supervise ammunition security programs.
CDD NOTES: This course is not a MOS producing school. Marine Corps School Code "To be determined". MCO 5100.29A and MCO 3500.27_ as points of safety reference guidelines.
