Greetings!
My name is Capt Mike Inzeo and I serve as the Uniformed Readiness Coordinator (URC) and Command Financial Specialist (CFS) here at The Basic School (TBS). My mission is to ensure that you, the individual Marine, Sailor, or family member, have the resources and information you need to thrive as a member of our military community! Please see the content below to learn about what I can do to assist you as the URC and CFS. Visit the links at the bottom of this page for more information on specific resources.
The Uniformed Readiness Coordinator (URC) is the face of the Commander's Unit Personnel and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP). The URC is responsible for managing the four tenants of a UPFRP:
1. Deployment Support - Education, training, and support to Marines and family members during deployment cycles. Some of the training conducted at TBS can feel like a mini deployment.
2. Official Communication - Communication directly from or on behalf of the Commander distributed to the Marine and/or Authorized Contact(s), which conveys information on the unit's status and protects operations security (OPSEC).
3. Readiness and Resource Support - Information and training about services, resources, and referrals supporting the personal and family readiness needs of the unit or its members.
4. Volunteer Management - Coordination of UPFRP volunteers.
The Command Financial Specialist (CFS) serves as the command's principal advisor on policies and matters related to personal financial education.
As the CFS I provide education and counseling on how to manage personal finances, including income, expenses, credit, debt, savings, investments, and retirement for an individual or family. Personal financial planning is a true passion of mine and I look forward to assisting you and your family to achieve your life goals. Feel free to email me to set up a time to talk about your individual situation. "Plan your finances to maximize your circumstances."
