Marines

•  Mission: To train intermediate level Marines for service as an Assault Amphibian vehicle commander  for the AAV family of vehicles.

•  25 Training Days

  –  Lecture/Demonstration = 52 Hrs

  –  Practical Application = 98.5 Hrs

  –  Performance and Written Exams = 33.5/7 Hrs

  –  Field = 9 Days

•  Frequency = 6 per year (3 per coast)
